Join our eco-hostel’s kitchen and hospitality team and immerse yourself in the flavors and traditions of the Andes! Learn to prepare authentic local dishes, support guest service, and share meaningful food experiences with travelers and the local community.
What you offer

Cooking:
Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Description:
Volunteers contribuyes a feérica of 80$ per week to Cover expenses for food and maintenance
What you get

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours:
Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.

Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish
Between 20 and 40 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
Join our kitchen and hospitality team at the eco-hostel. Learn how to prepare traditional Andean dishes, support guest service, and share food experiences with travelers and the local community.
🛠️ Responsibilities
Assist in the kitchen (preparation, cleaning, organization).
Learn and share traditional recipes.
Support guest service in dining and common areas.
Assist with basic cleaning and hospitality.

Activities & Shift
Weekly shifts: 5 days per week (Mon–Fri), with weekends free for personal time or exploring nearby areas.
Activities vary depending on your profile and the project’s needs:
🏡 Hospitality & Kitchen: helping with cleaning, preparing meals, supporting in guest service, and learning Andean recipes.
📸 Communication & Marketing: creating content, taking photos, helping share the project’s impact
Schedules by modality:
Standard: 5h/day, 5 days/week → $80/week.
Home support (kitchen/cleaning): 5h/day, 5 days/week → $70/week.
Flexibility: We assign activities based on your skills, preferences, and the project’s current needs.
Rules
Respect the community, culture, and traditions of San Antonio de Pasa.
No drugs or excessive alcohol are allowed in the accommodation or community spaces.
Volunteers are expected to keep their rooms and common areas clean.
Meals included: breakfast and lunch. Dinner is self-prepared in the shared kitchen.
Notify in advance if you have dietary restrictions or allergies.
Respect work schedules and commitments agreed upon in the interview.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Limited smoking area (outside only).
