The experience
I am the founder and director of a grassroots initiative in my Maasai community in Kisamis, Kajiado West. My approach is open, honest, and collaborative with every volunteer who joins us. ✨
Our project is dedicated to creating positive change and empowerment.
As a volunteer, you’ll be part of this journey, working closely with the community and contributing your energy, skills, and ideas to make a real difference.
What you offer
4 hours of help per day
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Elderly Care:
Assisting and spending time with the elderly.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Discounts on Drinks:
Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.
Discounts on Accommodation:

Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Program Details
This is more than a volunteer placement—it’s a cultural exchange and community experience. You’ll live alongside the Maasai, learn about their traditions, and contribute to projects that directly improve lives. Depending on your skills and interests, you might:
Help with education, awareness, and mentoring programs.
Support widows and orphans with daily activities.
Share creative or practical skills (DIY, crafts, business ideas, etc.).
Assist in promoting and selling handmade Maasai jewelry, both locally and online.

Activities & Shift
Our project is dedicated to creating positive change and empowerment through:
-Rescuing girls from early marriages đź’ś
-Ending FGM practices 🙅‍♀️
-Supporting widows and orphans 🤝
-Building a jewelry shop to showcase beadwork made by local women and developing online markets for their crafts đź’Ť
-Encouraging DIY and creative solutions to improve daily life 🔨
