The experience

At Kassanda Children’s Aid, this project focuses on improving the health and nutrition of vulnerable children while empowering local communities through sustainable farming and livestock initiatives. By providing training in agriculture, animal care, and nutrition, we help families grow healthy food, improve livelihoods, and ensure children have access to proper care and nourishment


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

This program empowers vulnerable children and their families through sustainable farming and livestock initiatives. By teaching agriculture, animal care, and nutrition, Kassanda Children’s Aid helps communities grow healthy food, improve livelihoods, and ensure children have access to proper nutrition and care, fostering healthier, thriving communities


Activities & Shift

Volunteers help with sustainable farming, livestock care, nutrition education, and child-focused activities. Shifts are flexible, with morning sessions for farming and animal care, and afternoon sessions for workshops, mentoring, and supporting families, ensuring hands-on involvement in improving community health and livelihoods.


Rules

Volunteers must respect local customs, children, families, and the environment. Follow instructions from staff, be punctual, maintain a positive and collaborative attitude, prioritize safety and hygiene, and responsibly handle animals, crops, and community resources while contributing to the project’s activities
