The experience

This is a Permaculture package where volunteers garden in the morning and take care of goats, chickens, and fish in the afternoon. The program offers hands-on experience in sustainable farming and livestock management


What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: A voluntary donation of $15 per day helps support accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Indonesia

Program Details

Our volunteer program focuses on sustainable permaculture practices, combining organic gardening and livestock management. Volunteers gain hands-on experience in growing vegetables, caring for animals, and maintaining a balanced ecosystem. Activities take place 4 days a week, from Monday to Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. During their days off, volunteers are free to explore the area or enjoy personal activities. This program is ideal for those interested in sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry, and eco-friendly living, while actively contributing to the community


Activities & Shift

Morning Shift: Gardening – planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting organic vegetables.

Afternoon Shift: Livestock care – feeding and tending to goats, chickens, and fish; cleaning pens and maintaining a healthy environment for the animals.

Volunteers may also assist with general farm maintenance and sustainable practices such as composting and natural pest control


Rules

1. Proper attire is required: comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and hats for sun protection.
2. Respect animals and plants; follow the guidance of farm supervisors.
3. Maintain cleanliness in work areas and living spaces.
4. Be proactive and willing to learn from hands-on experiences.
5. Follow safety instructions at all times during farm activities.
