We are transforming our old storage room into a warm and welcoming volunteer space and we would love your handicraft help

If you enjoy DIY, building or creative renovation, this is a chance to make your mark in a project surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes 🌿


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Hola! We are Sebas and Lorena, a Colombian–German couple living in the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our home sits on a 3.000m² garden right by the Urubamba River, offering a serene, tranquil setting, perfect to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature.

We also run a small rental property with two bungalows and one double room, welcoming travelers from all over the world.

What we offer you:

- A private room with a single bed, wardrobe, private bathroom (hot shower), electricity and strong Wi-Fi
- Access to shared spaces: garden, hammocks, yoga spots, quiet corners to relax and recharge
- Breakfast included on working days (you may prepare it yourself with local ingredients we provide or shop at the market)
- Use of the equipped kitchen for lunch and dinner
- A safe and welcoming environment

Location:

10 minutes from Urubamba (markets, shops, restaurants)
20 minutes from Ollantaytambo (gateway to Machu Picchu)
Walking distance to the Salt Mines of Maras
Public transport just 5 minutes away


Activities & Shift

Tasks include:

- Rebuilding part of a stone oven
- Laying out the floor where the oven has been broken out
- Installing shelves and adding cozy touches

Schedule:
5 hours per day (self-directed work with tasks agreed in advance)
5 days per week, flexible


Rules

To keep harmony in our shared home:

Maintain tidiness and cleanliness, especially in the shared kitchen (used by guests too).

Care for the property as if it were your own.
Be proactive, flexible and willing to lend a hand when something needs to be done.
