The experience

This program is designed for volunteers who want to support Deep Blue Sea Dive in managing and optimizing the official website. As a volunteer, you will upload content such as photos, videos, and articles from diving or snorkeling activities, and help document guest experiences. If there are no guest activities, volunteers will assist with mangrove planting in the Sekotong area. Volunteers work Monday–Thursday, while Friday–Sunday are free days.


What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Web Developer: Help develop and maintain websites.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 25 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: With a cost of $25 per day, this includes accommodation and three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Between 18 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

This volunteer program is designed for individuals who want to support Deep Blue Sea Dive in enhancing its online presence and promoting sustainable marine tourism. Volunteers will play a key role in managing and optimizing the official website by creating, uploading, and updating content, including articles, photos, and videos from diving or snorkeling activities. You will also document guest experiences, providing engaging content that showcases diving adventures and the local marine environment. If there are no guest activities scheduled, volunteers will contribute to environmental conservation by assisting with mangrove planting in the Sekotong area. This program allows volunteers to combine digital content creation with meaningful fieldwork, providing a unique opportunity to learn about marine conservation, eco-tourism, and community engagement. Volunteers are scheduled Monday–Thursday, with Friday–Sunday free for rest or personal exploration


Activities & Shift

Manage and update the website with new content, including articles, photos, and videos, ensuring all information is accurate and engaging.

Document guest snorkeling and diving trips through photography and videography, then upload content to the website.

Support the team in planning and organizing content for educational and promotional purposes.


Rules

1. Basic knowledge of website management (WordPress or similar CMS) is required.
2. Able to work independently and collaboratively with the local team.
3. Uploaded content must follow DBS Dive guidelines.
4. Flexibility is expected if schedules change due to guest trips or conservation activities.
5. Enthusiasm for marine conservation, eco-tourism, and community development is highly valued.
