Program Details
In the winter we offer a work for stay deal that exchanges work at the hostel for a bed and dinner. We prefer to take people that are able to stay an entire winter to ski at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, make that seasons pass count!
If you are interested in working at the hostel in summer, we offer paid position for the time between May and October. Please get in touch for more details on this opportunity!
Activities & Shift
Our day is split up in 5 shifts (opening, cleaning, afternoon and evening) and you can expect to rotate through those in a week, with at least 2 full days off. While the shifts in the morning are mostly about housekeeping, shifts in the afternoon and evening mainly deal with front desk, ie check-in, bookings, email, phone ...
Rules
We cater to active and outdoorsy people, and not to the party crowd. We have a quiet time from 11.30pm to 7am during which our common areas are closed in order to ensure all our guests can enjoy a good sleep and are well rested for the adventures to come. It is very important to us that we provide a welcoming, clean and safe place to our guests and our staff!
