The experience

Hostel is in renovation, we want to take it to the next level, Chetumal is a very small town, and very cheap to live in, this is the real Mexico, we barely have a McDonald's, most of our places are locally flavored, a calm city, great for safe walks, make new local friends and rest.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 23 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

We need to paint walls, take care of the plants, add more, keep the place nice and beatiful for the next high season.
