AUTUMN 2025 – Garden Lovers Welcome
The experience
This autumn, we're looking for garden enthusiasts to help us tidy up the garden after the warm summer season. Tasks include the annual trimming of hedges and boxwood, general garden maintenance, and preparing the outdoor space for winter.
We also have some indoor and outdoor painting projects coming up, so if you're a handy Harry or Harriet, that’s a great bonus.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Requirements
Intermediate English or Intermediate French
Over 18 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
What's not included
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
We're looking for friendly, motivated volunteers who enjoy working outdoors and want to experience everyday life in rural France.
Main activities include:
Trimming hedges and boxwood
Garden clean-up and preparation for winter
Indoor & outdoor painting
We have a preference for task experienced volunteers We aim for 5 hours of help per day, 5 days a week . Tasks are mostly outdoors, so try to bring suitable winter clothes
Activities & Shift
08:30 – 13:00 → Main activity period
13:00 onwards → Lunch, then free time
Afternoons and weekends can be used to discover the region or rest.
Rules
We enjoy hosting volunteers and believe in a respectful and positive exchange.
Here’s what we ask from you:
Be on time and active during helping hours
Respect the agreed tasks and daily rhythm
Keep your camper (your private space) clean and tidy
Respect the family’s home and habits
No smoking inside the caravan
Be open and communicative – we’re always happy to talk if needed
You’ll stay in a private camper with a kitchenette, electricity, wifi, shower place,... basic comfort.
We share lunch together after work. For breakfast and dinner, we provide ingredients and do your groceries – you prepare your own meals in your caravan.
