I really enjoyed my time in the guest house, Portugal! Even though it was the low tourist season, I had a great experience staying at Miguel's guesthouse. The place is calm and relaxing, and there are many beautiful spots to visit around the area. The tasks were simple and easy to complete, and Miguel was always kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a peaceful stay by the coast!

All the experience was positive. The place is amazing and the beach is great, the work is light and Miguel is a great host. If you search a place to spend few weeks in calm place and enjoy ocean and beach that's for you. Really glad for all the time spent there.

A wonderful experience for anyone looking to spend some time in a charming town by the ocean. The tasks are light and not demanding, and Miguel is very kind and helpful. I would recommend staying for about two weeks it's the perfect amount of time to enjoy everything without it becoming repetitive.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I'm really grateful to Miguel for making it happen in such a beautiful place. the the guest house is right by the ocean, the beach was rarely crowded, and I got to enjoy amazing sunsets and improve my surfing. Miguel is a chill and kind host with a very cute dog. My tasks included housekeeping, preparing rooms, light cleaning, and a bit of gardening. The hours were fair, and I had plenty of free time. Overall, I'm really happy with this experience!

This was my first time volunteering through Worldpackers, and it was a fantastic experience. Miguel and everyone at the homestay were so warm and welcoming—I felt at home right away. The work was always fair and never overwhelming, which made it easy to enjoy the experience. The town is quite small, which might not suit everyone, but I used the quiet time to read, relax, and reflect. Overall, I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and meaningful volunteer opportunity.

All in all my experience was good. The place is amazing, the pool is very cool, I met a lot of beautiful people and the work was light. I had a lot of free time to explore the area. In the end Miguel was great, but I have to say that at first he wasn't really welcoming and he was also not very nice some days. I think the reason is that they were just rough and full days for the house but I feel like I have to underline that.

The guest house is a small holiday zone, bit isolated, with limited buses (stop: Largo Parracho Branco). The ocean shore is clean, with a short wooden boardwalk and beautiful sunsets. The shared dorm has 10 beds and a bathroom opening from the room, sometimes used by others. Initially, all felt laid back, tasks were given kindly. Later, unpredictable schedules and random requests made planning personal time difficult- I tried to communicate but with little success. Clearer communication, fixed showers and structured guidelines would make the place friendlier and more comfortable for volunteers.

It was my first volunteer experience with Worldpackers and I'm glad it was at the the guest house. Although it's further away from the center of the guest house, the neighborhood is quiet and the beach is literally at the end of the street. It was two great weeks, with a few simple tasks during the day and interacting with guests from different countries. It's a perfect opportunity to practice Portuguese, English and Spanish, as well as make new friends and learn to surf during the summer.

This was my first worldpackers experience and I had a really great experience! Miguel is really nice and relaxed, he is understanding and very calm. The place is very quiet, but they do organize some events in the city (when I was there there was a concert and a surf night event with dj and fireworks!). Very close to the guest house (super nice little city), but not many transportation (you basically need to take bolt everytime but it's only 10-12 euros to go to the guest house). The beach is stunning with amazing sunset, will miss this the most!
