The experience

Volunteering at Pico Dogs means becoming part of a heartfelt mission to transform the lives of abandoned and elderly dogs on Pico Island. Your day will start walking the dogs in the hills viewing the ocean, followed by feeding and caring for them. Occasionally clean the garden, take the dogs to the vet and go shopping for supplies.

🕗 Daily hours: 8–12 AM & 3–5 PM
🌴 Free time: Explore the island, relax, or hop on a boat tour

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
