It was truly an unforgettable experience. The lives I saw and stories I heard left a deep impact on me. the the school needs almost everything—stationery, clothes, proper classrooms, desks, boards—but above all, a decent building. As a volunteer, don't expect comfort; conditions are very different, yet that's what makes it meaningful. Take precautions for hygiene, but know that people will do their best to make you feel at home. Madam Eunice has a wonderful heart and needs great support. I will miss everyone, especially the children.

My time at the the school has been truly life-changing. From teaching, playing, and planting with the kids, to sharing meals and laughter with Mama Eunice's family, every moment was filled with love and purpose. The children's smiles and curiosity inspired me deeply, and I am forever grateful for Mama Eunice's kindness and dedication. This place urgently needs volunteers, support, and donations to continue their mission. I leave with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a heart full of gratitude.

I had a wonderful time here, engaging with the the school and the community. the the school is very small but there are lots of students, so any teaching experience or wisdom you can bring is hugely valuable. What I would say to volunteers is being prepared to meet people from very different walks of life. Adjusting to the culture can be a challenge, however it's very rewarding and you will learn a lot. The work is flexible. Eunice was a good host and I recommend this position.

What I took from this experience is that they are looking mostly to a partnership and donation than actually volunteering. If you're looking for a place where you can impact financially while interacting with kids, this is for you. Everyone treated me with respect and nicely, I felt welcomed and the kids were amazing. Will definitely miss them. I did run into some problems, though. The fee was changed from $12 to $100 and neither them or worldpackers let me know. I found out when I arrived. Breakfast can be very basic as just plain bread and I recommend you go out on the weekends.
