The experience

This role is for a versatile volunteer who can help with content creation and community engagement. The position would involve a mix of tasks, including writing and publishing inspiring content, taking and editing amazing photos, and creating digital videos for digital platforms. The volunteer would also be responsible for maintaining and updating social media channels and could assist with organizing and promoting social activities.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 20 Per day

Fee pays for: Donation to project

Description: Your donation is a direct investment in the health and dignity of elderly Malawians. It allows us to provide all of our services completely free of charge, ensuring every elderly person receives the care they deserve, regardless of their financial situation.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

​Content Creation: Taking photos and videos of our guests, activities, and the local area to showcase our vibe.
​Social Media Management: Creating and scheduling engaging posts for our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok channels.
​Creative Writing: Writing blog posts or descriptions to share our stories and raising funds for us

Activities & Shift

Our volunteers help in the mornings, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., totaling 20 hours per week. With your afternoons and two days a week completely free, you’ll have plenty of time to connect with nature, explore the area, or simply unwind.
