Welcome to Our Peaceful Home in Playa del Carmen!
¡Hola! We are looking for a friendly and responsible person to join us in our beautiful home located within a safe, gated community in Playa del Carmen. If you're looking for a relaxing and secure place to stay for free in exchange for a few hours of help, this is the perfect opportunity for you. What would you do? Housekeeping, the house is small so most of the work can be done in a day.

What you offer

12 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

We're offering a private bedroom in our home for a solo traveler who is tidy, positive, and happy to help with a few household tasks. The ideal person for this work exchange is someone who values a quiet environment and is respectful of a shared living space.

About Our Location
Our house is in a secure, residential area at 20-minutes bus ride from the main downtown area of Playa del Carmen. It’s perfect for someone who wants to experience a more authentic, local side of the city while still having easy access to everything. Public transportation and taxis are readily available to get you to the famous beaches, Quinta Avenida, and the vibrant city center whenever you like.

Activities & Shift

Your work will be approximately 12 hours per week (about one day of work and flexible hours during the week), so you get 5-6 days free a week. Its a two-bedroom, small house. The tasks are simple and flexible and include:

Light Cleaning: Tidying common areas, sweeping floors, and basic kitchen and bathroom upkeep.

Laundry: Helping with household laundry.

Basic Cooking: Assisting with meal preparation or helping to cook a few meals each week.
