Program Details

Our volunteer program is designed to support our mission of providing free, compassionate care to the elderly in Malawi. Volunteers are essential members of our team, helping us deliver vital services directly to our beneficiaries in their homes and communities. This experience isn't just about helping; it's about connecting with a community, learning about Malawian culture, and making a real, positive impact on the lives of our elders.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers will primarily assist with direct service delivery from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Your daily tasks will include:
Health and Wellness: Assisting with basic health assessments, such as checking blood pressure.
Mobility Support: Helping with mobility and guiding the elderly through simple exercises.
Community Engagement: Participating in community activities like tree-planting or clean-ups alongside our beneficiaries.
Caregiver Education: Assisting our staff in teaching families how to properly care for their elderly relatives.

We expect volunteers to show respect and compassion toward all beneficiaries and community members.
A positive and proactive attitude is essential, as some tasks may be physically demanding.
