The experience
Join a meaningful experience in Masaka that connects education, culture, and community! Volunteers support local schools by assisting teachers, helping students learn, and encouraging creativity through engaging activities. Beyond the classroom, you’ll take part in community initiatives that promote growth, empowerment, and mutual learning. What you offer
4 hours of help per day
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
Teaching Sports:
Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.
What you get

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Program Details
Our volunteer program focuses on education and community development. Volunteers will mainly support school work by teaching, tutoring, and helping students with their studies. In addition, they will engage in community-based projects that promote learning, growth, and empowerment. The program is designed to create a positive impact by sharing knowledge, supporting children and youth in school, and strengthening the community through service.
Activities & Shift
Assist teachers during lessons and help students with their studies.
Tutor children and youth in English, math, and other basic subjects.
Support after-school activities, homework help, and creative learning sessions.
Participate in community outreach, workshops, and awareness programs.
Shifts are around 4 hours per day, 5 days a week — leaving plenty of time to explore, rest, and enjoy cultural exchange during evenings and weekends.
