The experience

Join a collaborative guesthouse in the heart of Lagoa da Conceição, Florianópolis 🏝️. We’re looking for volunteers to support with cleaning, maintenance, guest reception, and room preparation, while also sharing their passions by leading a 2-hour daily group activity (yoga, cooking, art, music, or anything you love!).

This is a chance to live, connect, and create in one of the most inspiring destinations in Brazil 🇧🇷.🌟

What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pub Crawls: Be a part of our pub crawls at local bars!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Portuguese

Between 18 and 38 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Help is 6 hours per day with 2 days off per week, with opportunities year-round during high, mid, and low seasons.

Activities & Shift

We’re looking for responsible, communicative volunteers open to cultural exchange. Main tasks include:

🧹 Cleaning & maintaining common areas and guest rooms
🛎️ Welcoming guests & preparing rooms for arrivals
🌈 Leading one 2-hour daily group activity based on your passion (yoga, cooking, music, art, etc.)

📌 Schedule:
• 6 hours per day (4h tasks + 2h activity)
• 2 days off per week
