The experience

We are a pioneering hostel in Portugal, with over 20 years of experience welcoming travelers from all over the world. Located right in the heart of Lisbon’s downtown, we’re known for our super friendly team, vibrant atmosphere, and making our guests feel at home. We’re looking for motivated volunteers to join our crew and help us: Front desk & reception tasks (check-ins, guest support, answering emails), cleaning, and occasional bar service,

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Requirements

Fluent English or Beginner Portuguese

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We are looking for volunteers to join our team in the following areas:

– Cleaning and housekeeping
– Front desk day and night shifts (check-in and check-out of guests, answering emails, learning how to use the reservation system)
– Assisting with dinner service
– Helping at the bar with drink service for guests
