Teach, Travel, Treasure in the Heart of Yogyakarta ✨(Free Tour)


The experience

Volunteers will join one of the largest English language centers in the heart of Yogyakarta. Jet Center, located in the city center, making it a vibrant hub for learning and culture. Class taught by professional instructors holding at least a Master’s degree. Volunteers will support regular teachers, assisting in class activities and learning facilitation.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Indonesia

European Union Passport

United States visa or citizenship

Program Details

Support professional English instructors in small-group classes.

Activities & Shift

Volunteer Role:

Assist in classroom activities and student engagement.
Observe teaching methods and participate in lesson plan execution.
Participate in weekly briefing sessions to prepare for classroom activities.
Help with cultural and recreational activities organized by Jet Center when available.

Training & Preparation:

Pre-arrival lesson plan briefing and orientation
Training on classroom support techniques provided by Jet Center instructors.
Mentorship from regular teachers during the entire program.
