The experience

We are a creative high school located in central Tórshavn. Our school is built on cultural and creative principles, where we work together as a community to explore and learn about the arts and culture.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We need help with daily tasks as part of the school’s daily routines and artistic projects, including renovations such as painting, cleaning, and cooking. Volunteers are also welcome to participate in our lessons and gain experience in painting, performing arts and participate in cultural experiences.

We have three main courses in painting, performing arts and culture/environment. We also host weekend courses in many different topics.
