The experience

I am looking for someone to come help me run my hostel! As a volunteer your tasks will include some simple cleaning, changing the beds at checkout, engaging with guests, and helping out at the hostel bar. I have a super cute dog named cola! He's extremely friendly and cuddly. id love it you could take him on a walk occasionally. My friends come around the bar often so if your looking to get to know Thai locals this is the spot for you.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Travel insurance

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

Shifts

Hours: Around 20-25 hours per week (about 4-5 hours per day, 5 days per week)

Days off: 2 days free per week (usually consecutive, but flexible)

Shift style: Tasks may change daily, but we'll always give clear instructions

Rules

keep things fair and respectful for everyone:

1. Respect the space - Keep shared areas clean and tidy.

2. Punctuality - Show up on time for your shifts.

3. Communication - If you're unsure about a task or need help, just ask.

4. No drugs or excessive drinking in the property.

5. Quiet hours - Respect other guests/ volunteers' rest times.

Minimum stay - Preferably at least 2 weeks (longer is even better).

7. Team spirit - Be positive, respectful, and open to helping where needed.
