This position allows you to create meaningful change, empower children and leave a lasting positive impact on a community in need . Your time and creativity will bring joy, hope and support where it's most needed.

What you offer

3 hours of help per week

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

4 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate Afrikaans

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We are dedicated in supporting children and vulnerable families by creating safe , joyful and inspiring spaces. We believe that small acts of kindness, creativity and service can bring lasting change to community in need, as a volunteer, you will play an important role in giving back through education, play, art hands on assistance.
You will be able to work with children through supporting recreational activities, help with basic learning, play games and share your creativity
Community outreach through helping with painting, murals and art projects that brighten schools and community areas.

Activities & Shift

Community support, assist with food preparation or distribution for needy families,
Helping in organizing donation or basic supplies for the community
Visit volnerable families with staff to offer encouragement and creative artwork
Eco and outdoor activities such as planting trees , engaging in small gardening projects

Commitment and punctuality, attend your scheduled shifts on time and participate fully in daily activities
