Painting and community project

The experience

We are looking for creative and motivated volunteers to help us bring new life to our space through painting and simple art projects.
Whether you're an experienced painter or just enjoy work with brushes and colour , your contribution will make a big difference. We want to create a warm, welcoming environment for our community, visitors and youth.
You will be able to opportunities like learning local culture, music and crafts .

What you offer

5 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Time commitment: volunteers usually help 4-5 hours per day , 5 days per week,
Duration: minimum stay of 2week but longer stays are encouraged to complete full projects.
Schedule: morning 🌄 it's painting and renovation tasks
Then afternoon: free time to explore Jinja or join cult8 activities

Activities & Shift

Volunteers will rotate through a mix of painting, creative projects and community engagement s
Wall painting and prep work. This will follow sanding, cleaning and priming walls, applying base coats and finishing layers

No professional painting experience required just motivation and willingness to help

Shifts can be flexible depending on volunteers preferences and weather.
Weekends are most free for exploration with optional light community project

Rules

Team work and cooperation with staff ,other volunteers and community members
Safety first, follow safety guidelines when using ladders, paints or cleaning chemicals
