Spanish Teacher Volunteer
The experience
We are looking for a volunteer to teach Spanish to our guests and team in a fun and interactive way. The role includes giving group lessons, conversational practice, and helping with basic Spanish useful for travelers. In exchange, you’ll enjoy accommodation, a friendly international community, and the Playa Venao lifestyle. Teaching experience is a plus, but not required.

Intermediate English or Fluent Spanish
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
Our Spanish teaching volunteer program invites you to share your language skills with our guests and team in Playa Venao. Volunteers help create a cultural exchange by teaching basic Spanish useful for travelers, as well as conversational practice for staff and guests.
Activities & Shift
• Leading 1–2 Spanish lessons per day (group or one-on-one).
• Organizing fun and interactive activities (games, conversation circles, practical phrases).
• Supporting staff with useful Spanish for daily hostel tasks.
Rules
• Be punctual and prepare activities in advance.
• Keep a friendly and encouraging attitude toward learners.
• Respect cultural differences and different levels of Spanish knowledge.
• Follow hostel rules: no drugs, no excessive alcohol during the stay.
