Maintenance Volunteer

The experience

We are looking for a hands-on volunteer to support our hostel with maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include small repairs, painting, organizing spaces, and helping improve facilities. If you enjoy fixing things and being creative with solutions, this role is for you! In exchange, you’ll receive accommodation, join a friendly international community, and enjoy the Playa Venao lifestyle.

What you offer

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 19 and 43 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our maintenance volunteer program allows you to be part of our hostel family while helping us keep the place in excellent condition. Volunteers contribute by fixing small issues, painting, organizing spaces, and supporting improvements, all while enjoying the Playa Venao beach lifestyle and meeting people from around the world.

Activities & Shift

• Small repairs (doors, furniture, simple fixes).
• Painting and touch-ups around the hostel.
• Organizing storage and helping with improvements.
• Around 4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week.

Rules

• Be punctual, responsible, and proactive.
• Respect hostel property and tools.
• Keep a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Follow community rules: no drugs, no excessive alcohol during your stay.
