The experience
We are a team of Human Rights students from the University of Livingstonia, running a grassroots initiative to empower children, support women, and inspire youth. Our focus is on education, health, and gender equality, creating opportunities for those facing challenges in our communities.
What you offer
16 hours of help per week
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
Cooking:
Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Description:
Volunteers contribute $13 per day, which covers food, accommodation, and expenses at the reservation.
What you get
3 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Dedicated Workspace:

Program Details
As a volunteer, you’ll engage in meaningful community activities, such as:
• Assisting with educational support for children
• Contributing to women empowerment projects (tailoring, small businesses, health awareness)
• Collaborating on youth programs like mentorship, leadership training, and sports
• Participating in community outreach and awareness campaigns
Activities & Shift
Volunteers usually collaborate 4–5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
• Weekends are generally free for rest, cultural exchange, or travel.
• Flexible scheduling — activities may vary depending on community needs.
Rules
• Respect local culture, traditions, and community members.
• No drugs or excessive alcohol use on the premises.
• Keep the volunteer house and surroundings clean and tidy.
• Take part in activities with commitment and a positive attitude.
• Be open to cultural exchange and teamwork.
• Respect activity hours (4–5 hours a day, Monday–Friday).
• Inform the team if you need time off or face any challenges.
