The experience

We are looking for volunteers to help us with cleaning the hostel, preparing the bed for new guests before check-in, monitoring the reservation system, checking in new guests, doing laundry, and sometimes helping with cleaning the pool and gardening work at the hostel.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Morning at 9am with the cleaning job and other related job at the hostel. Or at the guesthouse
Afternoon : Lunch time
Evening : Laundering

Activities & Shift

When there is no new check in we will go for hiking in the morning, visiting some Historical sites in Melaka , some sport activities like bowling or maybe go to the Night market during the night.
