The experience

Join our mission in Bangka Belitung to create a positive social impact by empowering local youth. What you offer

3 hours of help per day

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 35 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner German

Between 20 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We are looking for passionate and open-minded volunteers to help with education and youth empowerment. Your role will be to teach English and share global knowledge with local youth. This involves engaging with children and families in a way that is both educational and fun. Your collaboration will directly help us bridge the gap in educational opportunities and broaden the horizons of young people in our community. We believe that by starting small, we can create a lasting impact. We are also open to new ideas and co-creation, so feel free to share your thoughts and expertise.


Activities & Shift

We ask for your collaboration for 3 hours per day, with 3 days off per week. The tasks will be a combination of teaching and community engagement:

Teaching English to local youth.

Sharing global knowledge and cultural experiences.

Participating in cultural activities and local excursions.

Engaging in meaningful exchanges with children and families.


Rules

We expect volunteers to be respectful of our local culture and traditions. As you will be living and working within our community, a positive and open-minded attitude is essential.
