The experience

Hey traveler! 👋
We’re a cozy, family-style hostel in Santiago de los Caballeros, run by a young couple and our 3 super friendly dogs 🐕🐾. Life here is relaxed, social, and full of good vibes — we just need a little help to keep everything running smoothly.

What you offer

3 hours of help per day

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 30 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Activities & Shift

Your “job” (if we can even call it that 😎):

🛏️ Light cleaning in rooms & common areas
🌱 A bit of basic gardening
👋 Welcoming guests when we’re not around
🐕 Taking our dogs for walks (though honestly… they’ll probably walk you 🐾😂)


⏰ 3 hours per day
🗓️ 2 days off per week

Plenty of free time to explore Santiago, enjoy Dominican culture, and soak up the Caribbean atmosphere. 🌴☀️
