The experience
If you’d like to experience rural France while helping renovate a 200-year-old home 🏡✨, this is for you! We’re looking for keen, hands-on volunteers who enjoy learning and trying new things 💪. Tasks involve DIY, light construction, and general renovation 🔨. It’s a chance to share and grow skills, practice your French 🇫🇷, and live in a stunning area full of culture, history, and natural beauty 🌿.
What you offer
20 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
What you get
3 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Events:
Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements
Beginner French or Intermediate English
Over 18 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
We offer free accommodation for your stay. We offer meals for the days you are working with us and on the other 3 days you are free to use our kitchen to cook.
Activities & Shift
On the days you work with us there will be be a variety of tasks that you could be doing. This would depend on your knowledge and skills. It could be learning to mix plaster, cleaning out rubble, painting. If you are keen to learn we can teach you how to do things like putting up a metal stud wall. Cutting and fitting insulation. Anything to do with renovations and garden maintenance.
Rules
We expect people to be kind, polite and respectful. We also want to enjoy and have fun with people who stay. We have 7 year old twins so it is a family home.
