Program Details
As a trainer, you will guide sessions, facilitate workshops, and create a supportive, calming environment that allows participants to fully immerse in their personal growth journey. You’ll collaborate with other trainers to design daily schedules, lead mindfulness practices, and support participants in achieving their wellness goals.
This program is perfect for volunteers with experience or training in mindfulness, meditation, yoga, or holistic wellness, who want to gain hands-on experience in retreat facilitation while sharing their skills with a diverse group of participants.

Activities & Shift
As a Mindfulness Retreat Trainer, you will actively lead, facilitate, and guide participants through daily retreat activities. Key responsibilities include:
Leading Mindfulness Sessions 🧘♂️
Conduct guided meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, and relaxation practices.
Facilitate group discussions and reflection circles.
Support participants in journaling or other self-reflection exercises.
Workshop Facilitation ✨
Lead workshops on mindfulness, stress reduction, or personal development.
Guide participants through exercises designed to promote awareness, confidence, and well-being.
Encourage positive engagement and create a safe, inclusive space for all participants.
Preparation & Environment Setup 📝
Prepare retreat rooms, meditation areas, and outdoor spaces for sessions.
Ensure materials, props, and equipment are ready for workshops.
Maintain a calm and welcoming environment throughout the retreat.
Participant Support & Mentoring 🤝
Offer guidance and gentle support to participants during exercises.
Address individual needs with empathy and discretion.
Observe and provide constructive feedback to improve sessions when appropriate.
Documentation & Collaboration 📸
Document sessions through notes, photos, or videos if approved.
Collaborate with other trainers to refine schedules, workshops, and retreat activities.
⏰ Shifts & Weekly Schedule
Working Hours: 4–6 hours per day (flexible, depending on retreat schedule).
Days Off: 1–2 days per week (flexible).
Example Daily Schedule:
Morning (7:00 – 10:00): Lead meditation or yoga sessions, followed by journaling/reflection exercises.
Midday (10:30 – 12:30): Facilitate workshops, group discussions, or mindfulness exercises.
Afternoon (1:30 – 3:30/4:00): Support one-on-one guidance
Rules
As a Mindfulness Retreat Trainer, you are leading transformative experiences and serving as a role model for participants. To ensure professionalism and respect for Moroccan culture, please follow these rules:
👔 Dress Code & Appearance
✅ Dress modestly at all times: shoulders, knees, and belly must be covered.
✅ Tattoos and piercings should be discreet or covered while leading sessions.
✅ Avoid tight, transparent, or revealing clothing.
✅ Maintain a neat and professional appearance that reflects your role as a trainer.
🚭 Behavior & Conduct
🚫 No smoking, alcohol, or drugs during volunteer hours or on retreat premises.
🚫 Avoid inappropriate language, gestures, or behavior.
✅ Be punctual, reliable, and fully engaged during your shifts.
✅ Follow instructions and collaborate respectfully with co-trainers and staff.

✅ Maintain a calm, professional, and supportive demeanor during all sessions.
✅ Respect participant boundaries and privacy; do not force anyone to participate.
✅ Encourage mindfulness, reflection, and personal growth in a positive manner.
