The experience

We're looking for volunteers to help us with cleaning and welcome guests with our friendly staff at the Hostel. This is the best opportunity to spend time with the local staff and other volunteers.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

We are a local and traditional Mexican hostel, an excellent opportunity for travelers to get to know our traditions and customs. We are located in the central area of the city of Mérida, 2.8 km from Mérida Cathedral, and offer accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace, and a bar. The accommodation is about 2.9 km from Plaza Grande, 3.1 km from Mérida bus station, and 7 km from Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center. The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool, a shared kitchen, and free WiFi throughout the property.
