The experience

Experience a quiet life in Tasmania on a peaceful farm with a variety of animals. Ride and train horses through the beautiful mountains and fields, and learn about endurance riding across the island.

You just need to be confident on a horse, willing to help, and open to learn new things.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Activities & Shift

We're flexible and easygoing, and love having people join us on the farm. Your days will mostly be spent looking after the horses, riding, and helping out with whatever needs doing around the farm. It's a relaxed, hands-on way to be part of daily farm life and pick up new skills along the way.
