Program Details

We are a small family project in central Portugal, developing our garden, horta, and food forest step by step. Volunteers help with seasonal tasks like planting, mulching, weeding, and preparing the land for the winter. It’s hands-on work outdoors, and we appreciate flexibility as every week can bring different needs in the garden.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers help 5 days a week, around 4 hours per day (usually mornings, from 9:00–13:00 or 10:00–14:00). Tasks include gardening, planting, weeding, mulching, watering, harvesting, and preparing the food forest for winter. Work is outdoors and may vary depending on the season and daily needs. Afternoons are free for relaxing or exploring the area.
