🏡✨ Volunteer at a Holiday Home for Children in Need ✨🐴

The experience

We are a family of four : Mayilan 18, Miléna 11, Lénaik and I, 49 years old. We live in a big house in the countryside near by the seaside. We have horses, rabbits, chicken, cats and dog. During their free time, we welcome chidren from 6 to 16 placed in foster homes or meeting difficulties in their famillies. We would like a little help for home and garden maintenance, care of the animals, activities for kids.

What you offer

3 hours of help per day

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English and Intermediate French

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Daily we take care of the house and the animals. My daughter do homeschooling. One week end on two plus school holidays, we welcome children in difficulties. We look for a volunteers to share all this and to participate.

Rules

no smoking in the house, no drug, alcoohol only for parties, NonViolent Communication as much as possible, respect of animals and children
