What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Requirements

Fluent Swahili or Fluent English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Description

Join us in Arusha to make a real impact in our community! As a volunteer, you’ll help with school activities, community projects, and creative tasks like photography or storytelling.

We’re looking for positive, flexible, and respectful travelers eager to share their skills and learn from local culture. In return, you’ll get a welcoming environment, guidance on tasks, cultural experiences, and time to explore village life.

Activities & Shift

Daily Activities:

Assist in school activities and lessons

Organize games, arts, and sports for children

Support community projects and events

Help with crowdfunding campaigns (online or local fundraising)

Light gardening, cleaning, or maintenance

Photography, social media, or storytelling (optional)

Share skills or workshops with the community

Shifts:

4–6 hours per day

Morning or early afternoon

Flexible schedule with free evenings
