We welcome travelers from all over the world who are patient, creative, and excited about cultural exchange. In return, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in Ecuadorian traditions, enjoy authentic cuisine, and explore the beauty of the Andes.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

As a volunteer teacher, you’ll help with small groups of students who need extra practice to build their confidence in English. You won’t just be teaching grammar—you’ll be sharing your experiences, culture, and knowledge in a dynamic and fun way. Whether through conversations, games, or storytelling, your presence will make a real difference in their learning journey.


Activities & Shift

Main activities:

Leading small group sessions focused on speaking practice
Sharing your culture, traditions, and hobbies in English
Creating fun and interactive ways for students to practice
Encouraging students to use English in real-life situations
