The experience

Join us in building one of the biggest horse rescue centers in Bulgaria! πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ’š

Right now, we’re still small, but our dream is big β€” to provide a safe home for horses and dogs in need. With 29 years of experience working with horses, I can teach you how to ride πŸ‡, and show you how to care for sick or injured horses with love and respect. You’ll also help us look after our amazing dogs 🐾.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

We keep things relaxed and friendly 🌼.
Once the animals are cared for in the morning, we sometimes head into the community to help β€” and after that, the rest of the day is free to enjoy, explore, or just relax. ✨

Activities & Shift

Your main activities will include:

🐴 Feeding, grooming & caring for horses
πŸ• Helping with the dogs
πŸ’Š Supporting with treatment of sick or injured animals (training provided)
🌱 Occasionally helping with small tasks around the rescue center

⏰ Schedule: 8:00 – 13:00
πŸ—“οΈ 25 hours per week
🌴 2 days off to rest or explore the area
