The experience

We are a couple of teachers with a 5-year-old son who attends kindergarten. We have participated as Workawayers on several occasions—in Quebec (Canada), Madagascar, and various places in France. We are very familiar with the Workaway philosophy. We love traveling and meeting new people. We really enjoy going to the countryside to hike and connect with nature. We want our son to learn how to live with others and to learn languages.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We are looking for a responsible, patient and dynamic person to help us for a few hours a day: spend time with our son (play, speak French, accompany him in small activities), give us a hand at home (cleaning, simple tasks) and, if possible, help us with the small renovation jobs we are doing at home.
