The experience

Come live the simple life in the mountains of Nepal! 🏔️ Our family cultivates rice and corn fields, raises goats and buffalo, and grows vegetables like cauliflower and chili. We invite you to share our daily routines, traditions, and rituals, and experience authentic Nepali hospitality.

You’ll enjoy delicious traditional vegetarian meals 🍛, connect with our culture, and if you’d like, you can also spend time with our two children.


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Beginner English or Beginner Hindi

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

This is more than volunteering—it’s a chance to live as part of a Nepali family and learn about indigenous life in a beautiful mountain setting. ✨


Activities & Shift

As a volunteer, you’ll take part in everyday activities like:

Helping in the rice and corn fields 🌾
Assisting with goats, buffalo, and other animals 🐐🐃
Supporting vegetable gardening 🌱
Cooking or sharing meals with the family 🍲
Spending time with our children (playing, storytelling, English practice) 👩‍👧‍👦

In return, you’ll have your own room, daily meals, and a warm family environment where cultural exchange is at the heart of everything we do.

Help is flexible depending on the season and daily needs—there’s always time to rest, explore, and enjoy the mountains!
