Program Details

Here’s what we usually enjoy doing together:
- Practicing English (and learning from your language too!)
- Helping in the garden or around the house
- Cooking and sharing meals
- Light DIY or creative projects

When you arrive, we’ll go to the grocery store together to plan meals for your stay. You’re welcome to make your own breakfast, and for lunch and dinner, volunteers usually cook together with the hosts. The host will provide all the groceries, but may not always cook—so volunteers are expected to help out. We also encourage you to share your culture by preparing traditional meals!

Activities & Shift

You can jump into whatever feels like a good fit: chatting in English, cooking your favorite dish, lending a hand in the garden, or helping out with little home projects. Outside of that, you’ll have plenty of time to explore — take a countryside walk, go hiking, swim nearby, or just relax with a camera or sketchbook.

Rules

We love hosting people who are open-minded, kind, and excited to share their culture. If you’re happy to join in with simple, hands-on tasks and bring your good energy, you’ll be more than welcome here.
