The experience

We are currently reforming a beautiful old building and need help with basic labour tasks such as sanding, cleaning, painting, moving rubbish and possibly more skilled or artistic jobs. Idea is to create a community centre in the heart of Rio.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner Portuguese or Beginner English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

4 hours a day Monday to Friday in exchange for accommodation in an excellent and secure location, access to an equipped kitchen, hot water, drinking water, internet and bedding.
