The Penida Project Hostel 🌴 (a social, capsule-style jungle hostel)

Tapasita Mediterranean Tapas Bar 🍷 (our new seaside restaurant with stunning ocean views).

We’re looking for creative travelers who enjoy making reels and stories to share the vibe of our spaces.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Program Details

Your role will be to create content that highlights and showcases the Penida Project and its sister restaurant Tapasita. The content style should be authentic, fun, informative and appealing.

The content provided should showcase the hostel, the vibe, amenities and offerings giving people insight and encouraging them to come and experience it themselves. The Instagram Reels/TikTok videos should feature not only the life of the hostel, but the local culture and activities and attractions on the island.

Content is to be shared on both the volunteer's personal Instagram and Tiktok account and The Penida Project/Tapasita's account. If you can create and post content on Youtube as well, you’ll be specially considered for the position!

You will be required to create and post 4 videos in 1 week. This will consist of:

Post ONE video highlighting the hostel’s accommodation, amenities (bed interior, bathrooms, pool, basketball court etc.), food and beverage and activities.

Post ONE video highlighting a 'Tik Tok trend' rend featured in the hostel or displaying an activity, product, service or event from the hostel

Post ONE video highlighting Tapasita including the venue, atmosphere, food items and beverages.

The other video of content is entirely up to you.

In exchange, we offer:

There are no fixed shifts. The content must be delivered according to a schedule where 4 pieces of content must be posted on the following days during your stay - Day 2, day 4, day 6 and day 8.

For longer stays the content deliverables can be discussed.

Depending on experience and audience engagement, the exchange is open to offering further incentives.

Activities & Shift

Shifts will work around a content plan - day/ night content depending on the theme or message.

Flexible hours (you can create content around your own travel schedule).

We’ll coordinate together which venue you’ll cover each day.

Rules

✔️ Tag our official @penidaproject or @tapasita_penida accounts in all content.
✔️ Include a pinned location of The Penida Project or Tapasita.
✔️ Add a minimum of 5 hashtags to each post including #penidaproject #nusapenidahostel and/or #tapasita_penida and three others of your choosing.
✔️ Add a call-to-action to all of your captions including "Make sure you visit The Penida Project when visiting Nusa Penida." or "I highly recommend visiting Tapasita when you're in Nusa Penida."
✔️ Content must be posted before leaving Nusa Penida.
✔️ DO NOT MENTION COLLABORATION in your content.
✔️ Maintain a respectful, friendly, and professional attitude with staff and guests.
✔️ No professional equipment required, but creativity and social media skills are essential.
✔️ This program is only open to creators with a public profile and active engagement.
✔️ For Tik Tok specific posts no nudity, drinking or smoking in the shot.
