Farmhelp - fix with the buildings, fences, horses and sheep.
The experience
Our volunteers share a house with 5 bedrooms. There's a kitchen and one bathroom. It also has a nice terrace with a nice view of a lake, right in front of the house. The house is situated, really beautifully in the middle of the wild forest, 4 km away from Ösjönäs, our B&B. The volunteers get a bike to use to get around.

Program Details
Our volunteers share a house with 5 bedrooms. There's a kitchen and one bathroom. It also has a nice terrace with a nice view of a lake, right in front of the house. The house is situated, really beautifully in the middle of the wild forest, 4 km away from Ösjönäs, our B&B. The volunteers get a bike to use to get around.
In the house we also have our seasonal workers staying and it's a social place where the volunteers and the workers normally cook, hang out and do activities together.
The season is intense here and our volunteers work a lot but also have the oppurtunity to enjoy the activities at our place, the nature surrounding us and having a good time.
All volunteers who come here are welcome to try out our high rope course, use our kayaks and canoes, saunas and bikes. We also gladly give hiking suggestions and the volunteers who are experienced riders can also go horse back riding.
Activities & Shift
Most volonteers come to help us with the housekeeping and in the kitchen. With this position however we hope to find help for outside work. Most of us work mornings preparing and serving the breakfasts. Normally from 7 am to 1 pm. Or evenings cooking and serving the dinners, normally 4 pm to 10 pm.
The house keeping is noramlly done between 9-15 . The outside hours will be planned according to the weather and whatever else there is to do.
We try to take 1 hour brake every day and eat together.
Rules
We don't have much rules but from our long experience of receiving volunteers we've learned that it's important to have an interest in nature when you come here. Otherwise you will probably not enjoy it very much. It's also good if you like sharing a house and everything that comes with that. High season here can be intense but almost all our volunteers who came here enjoyed it a lot and met friends for life.
