The experience
We warmly invite you to join our vibrant, eco-conscious community at our certified organic lemon farm nestled in the serene Monchique hills, Portugal. Here, you can immerse yourself in sustainable living through gardening, animal care, natural construction, and supporting our forest-based homeschooling project, all while sharing meals and experiences with our co-living families. You’ll gain hands-on skills in an family friendly environment.
What you offer
20 hours of help per week
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Free Events:
Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Yoga classes:
Take free yoga classes at our place.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Holistic Therapies:
You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Dedicated Workspace:
Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details
We offer : Engaging Activities: Participate in gardening (both winter and summer), animal care, natural construction projects, and catering for guests.
Community Living: Share meals and experiences with fellow volunteers and families.
Learning Opportunities: Gain practical skills in biodynamic agriculture, holistic land management, and regenerative farming practices. Wellness Routines: Join optional morning meditation and yoga sessions, followed by a communal breakfast. Flexible Schedules: Choose between morning or afternoon work sessions, with afternoons free for personal time.. If you think you fit in, you are more than welcome... We expect you to be animal and child-friendly, a person which can work for 4 hours, mainly sometimes even physical more intensive work, likes cleanliness, no substances abuse and preferably non smoker.
