Hmong English school is in the center of Lao chai Village.
The experience
Hello, my name is Ha. I am from Sapa, Vietnam, and I live in Lao Chai Village, a small Hmong community surrounded by rice terraces and mountains.
I started the Hmong English School with one simple dream: to give local children the chance to learn English and open new opportunities for their future. Many children in my village cannot afford extra classes, so I wanted to create a place where they can learn for free.
And we look forward to meeting.

Many children in my village cannot afford extra classes, so I wanted to create a place where they can learn for free, feel supported, and grow with confidence.
Now, our school has many eager students both children and adults who are excited to learn. But we need help. That is why I am looking for volunteer teachers who can come and share their time, skills, and passion for teaching English.
As a volunteer, you will not only teach but also experience daily life in a Hmong village. You will be welcomed into our community, surrounded by the beauty of Sapa’s mountains, rice fields, and warm-hearted people.
We truly believe that together, we can change lives through education. We warmly welcome you to join us in Lao Chai Village, and we look forward to meeting you soon.
