I had an amazing experience with the hostel šŸ’• At the hostel you always have something fun to do, that you don't even want to go out to other places so much (really). Parties, games, fun, free shots, party again hahah The work is easy and if you need to change your shift, they are flexible. The hostel is huge, you have space to be quiet if you want, to study/work, and also to meet new people. The volunteer room is big and comfortable. Thank you all for receiving me and I hope to be back someday! Thanks to all the permanent team and to the volunteers I met, you made my experience unforgettable!

The experience at the hostel was amazing! It's a perfect break from traveling, and everyone is so calm and chill. We worked 4 days a week around 7 hours a day, which gave us a lot of free time. We worked in the reception as a sidekick and helped with the cleaning from either 8-15 or 10-17. It's super easy to learn, and everyone helps you - even though we don't speak Spanish. There are lots of social things going on, and the hostel is absolutely huge, so you have the opportunity to socialize at all times but also chill on your own. Shoutout to Felipeā¤ļø If you want to be amazing, be amazing ;)

Best volunteering opportunity! The staff and the other volunteers are all amazing people and the accommodation is so great, especially cause they offer separate rooms for men&women. I worked at the bar and for me the schedule(19 to 2) and the tasks were perfect. Thanks the hostel fam for making me feel at home and for making my experience in Chile unforgettable.

I loved my time at the hostel. The people I met, volunteers and guests alike, were super great. Most everyone starts out on housekeeping and then moves on to different roles, which was frustrating for some, so just a heads up. Overall it was great to practice spanish, learn about chilean culture, and a great first volunteer experience for me!

The hostel is very social place, we got to meet not only volunteers, but a lot of cool guests. Work is not hard, you help around at the reception, bar or with cleaning 4 days a week. Eduardo and Paulina are very cool managers. I really enjoyed my 3 weeks in the hostel. Definitely recommend this place and hope to come back one day:)

The hostel has really fun events, the other volunteers were amazing, the hours were super fair and the work is easy and fun. BUT, Felipe (the full time ā€œbar managerā€ who lives there), made me feel so uncomfortable as a woman that I had to leave early. He made gross comments about my appearance, he'd change what I had to do for work so I'd look like a bad employee, and he tries to be sexually intimate with really drunk volunteers and guests alike. He made multiple other girls leave early during my time. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT HOSTEL IF UR A GIRL.

The hostel is within walking distance to a lot. Restaurants, bars, stores, La Vega market, etc. I liked the fact that male and female volunteers have different rooms. On Sundays they have a free bbq which I thought was cool. Unfortunately during my time here I was sick. I did my best to communicate and showed up as best as I could. I didn't feel that there was any empathy and there's too many people conveying messages instead of direct and clear communication. I left a few days earlier to take care of my health.

I had the most amazing first volunteer experience at the hostel! I felt at home with the other volunteers and staff, and working at the bar was as easy as it was fun. I felt like I made a difference there by providing feedback and training to new volunteers. I left with a lot of gratitude for this magical place.

Volunteering at the hostel has been an incredible experience. Huge shout out to Paulina and her amazing staff for being so patient, welcoming, and creating such a great vibe at the hostel. They're like a big family. This was only the second hostel that I've volunteered with and I learned so much and will be much more prepared for my next volunteer experience. Thank you Paulina, Eduardo, Felipe, Axa, Wesley, and Diego!!
