The experience
Join our horse farm in the Plateau de Sault mountains, where we care for endangered Castillonnais horses with respect and love. Volunteers help with daily tasks like horse brushing, gardening, woodwork, fencing, cooking, and stable renovation. In return, youβll learn subtle communication, horse education, and animal traction. Enjoy organic food, beautiful landscapes, hiking, skiing, and a joyful community spirit.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details
Our project is driven by passion and respect for life. We care for around 15 endangered Castillonnais horses through subtle communication and equipedagogie, inviting them to work naturally and joyfully. Volunteers help with daily farm life: horse care, gardening, fencing, woodwork, stable renovation, and cooking. In exchange, youβll learn to connect with horses, practice animal traction, and enjoy a calm lifestyle in beautiful mountain surroundings.
