Are you passionate about the environment, farming, and sustainability? 🌍🌿 Come help us with hands-on projects that improve the lives of small-scale farmers, fight climate change, and promote eco-friendly living in Malawi.

This is your chance to learn about agroecology, support the community, and enjoy life surrounded by beautiful landscapes 🌄.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our organization works with women and youth farmers, helping them adopt sustainable methods and improve their income. We also run environmental awareness projects and health initiatives related to water and sanitation.

As a volunteer, you’ll get your hands dirty while learning practical skills in farming, climate action, and sustainable living 🌱.


Activities & Shift

🕒 About 4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week (2 days off).
🌿 Activities may include:

Helping farmers with planting, composting, or small agricultural tasks 🚜.

Supporting reforestation and tree-planting projects 🌳.

Joining community clean-ups or eco-education sessions 🌍.

Assisting with small maintenance tasks and organization 🛠️.


Rules

Follow safety guidelines when using tools.

No drugs or excessive alcohol.
