Program Details

Quinta Antes o Vento is a regenerative project in Portugal where volunteers are welcome to live simply, connect with nature, and support daily farm life. We grow food using permaculture principles, care for animals, and create a lifestyle rooted in sustainability and community.

As a volunteer, you’ll take part in activities such as gardening, cooking, cleaning, and general maintenance, while learning hands-on skills in ecological living. Life here follows the rhythm of the land, offering a balance between teamwork and personal time.

If you’re looking for a meaningful experience where you can contribute, learn, and be inspired by a regenerative way of life, we’d be happy to welcome you to our Quinta.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers can support us in different areas of daily farm life, depending on the season and project needs. Typical activities include:

Gardening and permaculture food growing 🌱

Cooking and helping in the kitchen 🍲

Cleaning and maintaining shared spaces 🧹

Caring for animals 🐔🐑

General maintenance and small building tasks 🛠️

Shifts are usually 4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with 2 days off to rest, enjoy nature, or explore the region. We value teamwork, but also give space for volunteers to enjoy quiet time and connect with the land.

Rules

We do not provide food.
